And you thought the contests were over and done with! 😜

Not only does Syn have a new amp on the way, but he wants to give away a pedal as well, and YOU can win it! ✨💥✨
Here’s how:
  • Create a riff based off of one of Syn's tips from the lessons and post it here: http://verdierdeco.com/media/categories/syns-tip-riffs-for-pedal-contest.17/
  • Students with an upgraded account (Supporters and Legends) will get double the riff points when they post their video!
  • The student making the most effort in their video will have a chance to win!
  • As always, Syn has the final say on who wins the contest!
*In the description of your video, please be sure to indicate which tip you used from which lesson and how you used it.

The deadline to submit a riff is December 6th. The winner will be announced during the week of December 7th!
Sound cool?

Good luck guys :money-face:

Awesome contest! Though quick question, should we put which tip we used in the description of the video and explain how we used them or should it be said in the video? Or not at all!?

Putting it in the description of the video would be helpful, no need to go over it in the video itself though!

Awesome, so keeping the video as straight to the point as possible! Perfect!

    Amazing!

When you say 'Create a Riff' do you mean uploading a video of you using the technique and upload it in the 'Riffs' section, or do you mean to actually write your own riff using one of the techniques with Syn's tips?

I'm gonna play unholy confession and use lesson 2!
"yeah, Syn's tip on how to hold a pick really helped me here"

Edit: @Jak Angelescu telling me that's the farthest I've come with the lessons anyway in 3, 2, 1...

Good question. You don't have to create your own riff, but it is encouraged! Post your riff here to be part of the contest.

How about instead of a riff I post my original song from my project Evil Einstein
All of Syn's lessons were vital to me.
Hope you all enjoy. Long live metal!

Be sure to indicate in the description which tip you used from which lesson and how you used it to be considered for this contest. :lightning-guitar-pick:

Does it have to be a riff in particular, or can it be a series of licks, etc?

I want a precise description so I can be aware of what the goal is.

This is going to be soooooo rad! Prize aside, I’m just stoked to see what everyone comes up with and how students utilize the tips :rock-hand:

My ambitious ass had an idea but I do kinda need the deadline to actually do it. So just to be clear, the deadline is december 7th correct?
